“The secret of the Rosary lies within the life of Jesus and Mary.” – Queen of Peace

When you feel broken and lost, fearful and worried thoughts loops through your mind, and your last light of hope begin to fade; where, what, or who do you turn to? For the lucky Ones they found the rosary, an amazing prayer that consists of the only two prayers orchestrated by God, the “Our Father” and the “Hail Mary”.  The rosary force demons to take flight and help us break ourselves of our sins, bondage, and attachments, and give light to the darkness in our lives.  It is a source of everlasting love, a proclamation of the truth, and one of the most powerful weapons given to us from the heaven.

"Rosary-A Spiritual Weapon":

On the talk of “Rosary: A Spiritual Weapon,” Father ********* said some people go to an exorcist complaining, “You know the demons are afflicting me…I am being bombarded with thoughts.”  Father ********* suggests that if one wishes to banish negative thoughts we need to meditate on the life of Jesus and Mary by praying the Rosary. Father ********* stressed, “The demons cannot stand what they see in your imagination…”and so they flee.

The Power of Jesus and Mary Name

There is an indescribable strength in the names of Jesus and Mary.  Father Mueller profess, “When we say the Rosary, we pronounce these powerful names no less than one hundred and fifty-four times…Imagine, then, what great pain and confusion we cause the devil by saying the Rosary.”   Here’s a funny story about Simon Magus and the powerful name of Jesus taken from the book Lives of Saints, “When Simon, the great magician, was in Rome, he promised the Emperor Nero and the Roman people to fly in the air, thus pretending to imitate the ascension of our Savior into heaven.  Accordingly, he raised himself into the air, by means of the devil, in the presence of the Emperor.  When St. Peter and St. Paul saw the delusion, they betook themselves to prayer, and at the name of Jesus the devil lost his power over Simon Magus; the imposter fell to the ground, was bruised, broke a leg, and died a few days after in rage and confusion” (Butler’s “Lives of Saints,” Vol. 2 p. 463).

The Secret of the Rosary

Within the mysteries of the rosary, therein lie the virtues of Jesus and Mary and secret spiritual weapons given to those who dare to meditate on their lives.  To know God is to love God. We know that when Jesus came into the world he won the war between Good and Evil.   He conquered death by his virtues.   Everything he touches and established here on earth has been marked and claimed as his.   We have seen in the life of Simon Magus, and during exorcism, that even the sound waves of the name of Jesus and the brainwaves of the thought of Jesus and Mary’s life have power over Evil!  In the first joyful mystery “The annunciation” we are taught the virtue of humility, “Let it be done, according to thy will.”  Here the Angel Gabriel came down from heaven and greeted Mary with lilies.  Many people do not realize that even the lilies holds secret blessing.  There are reports of people being healed with a touch of blessed lilies (Click here).  The same grace are given to those who touch the true cross of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and the holy water during the baptism in the Jordan River, etc.

The mind cannot comprehend the mercy of Jesus.   God gave us sacramental such as the rosary to defend ourselves against the evil within ourselves, the demons, and the free will to choose him. Did you know the Catholic religion is the only religion that has a God who sacrifices himself to save us?   Let us pray the rosary together and as we meditate on each mystery with Mary, let us ask Mary to help us replace all of our vices with her virtues.  The more we persevere in prayer, the more we will be transformed.  It has been said, “No one can live continually in sin and continue to say the Rosary.  Either he will give up the sin or he will give up the Rosary.” (Bishop Patrick Boyle)

Please pray the rosary for priests and your love ones.
